Learning IS the Game

A fantastically fun idea that is a lot of work on the front end.
This idea first came to me from my husband when he returned from a conference. He was taken by a new book he had heard of The Multiplayer Classroom: Designing Coursework as a Game  by Lee Sheldon. It was energizing to see him work with this new way to present a unit in the middle of the year to his kids. Be warned, it may require a lot of work on your part at the beginning. However, it can be a fun way to engage (or re-engage) your students.
